This is an intensive skydiving course to teach you solo freefall. The AFF Course is based around eight levels and usually you will do one skydive at each level. It is a new progressive fast track skydiving training programme, which takes you from a complete beginner to Category 8. Coached by very experienced instructors USPA/BPA rated, you will be well on your way to becoming a fully qualified skydiver! Once qualified you will be able to skydive at any drop zone in the world!
Itinerary
• Full day ground tuition of theory and practice of skydiving
• Level 1 - sky dive from 1215,000 feet with two instructors holding onto you
• Level 2 - with two instructors with pulls and turns on the right and further in drills
• Level 3 - instructors release you but staying in close proximity for assistance if necessary
• Level 4 - exiting with just one instructor holding on exit. 180 degrees left turn and 180 degree right turn and forward movement
• Level 5 - one instructor holds you on exit, 360 degree left turn, 360 degree right turn and forward movement
• Level 6 - dive exit with instructor following. Back loop, delta track, 180 degree turn
• Level 7 - dive exit with instructor following. Back loop, delta track, 360 degree turn
• Level 8 – solo exit from 5,000 feet, followed by deployment of your canopy within a few seconds
• On completion of level 8 you graduate from AFF
• Following graduation you must make 10 further jumps, called consolidation jumps. These jumps allow you to practice what you have learnt on your own.
• Now you are ready for some serious skydiving!

Essential Information
Course includes all tuition, documentation and the eight AFF level skydives; any repeat levels will be charged directly by the centre.
Duration
The duration of the course will vary due to weather and your own circumstances. It is possible to complete the course in five days, but it is recommended to give 7 to 10 days.
Number of participants
For one person only (you may be training with two or three other people).
Spectators
Spectators are welcome.
Restrictions
Minimum age is 16 years. A parent or guardian must accompany any participant under the age of 18 years
Maximum age is 50 years.
Maximum weight is 90 kg.
On the day, all skydivers will be required to complete a ‘Parachutist Declaration of fitness’ before training commences. This will be done onsite when you arrive for your jump. If you are over 40 years old, or have a medical condition that may affect your ability to freefall or parachute safely, you will require a doctor’s certificate to be completed in advance. If the skydiver is aged 16 or 17 you will need a parent or guardian to sign both a medical form and consent form. You will also need a Declaration of fitness to Parachute if you have suffered from any of the following:
Previous fractures, back strain, arthritis and severe joint sprains, chronic bronchitis, Asthmas Rheumatic fever, anaemia or of if you have recently donated blood, epilepsy fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug related illness or alcohol addiction or any condition which requires the regular use of drugs.
If you have received any hospital or medical attention within the last three months, please specify on the necessary forms on the day.
Persons over the age of 50 will only be accepted for Tandem skydives. Exceptions to this rule may be allowed if the candidate either has previous experience or is of a high standard of fitness and can convince the instructor of that fitness.
Goggles fit over glasses.

What to wear
Specialist equipment such as helmet, goggles and jumpsuit will be provided. Please do not wear open shoes such as sandals. It is recommended to wear shoes that cover the ankle and toes or trainers. Long trousers and t-shirt will be fine, as you will be provided with protective jumpsuit to go over your clothing.

This experience is available on selected days only; please book 3 weeks in advance of your required date.
Notes
